Took a trip this week to Houston, Texas to attend one of the largest Fancy Dress Costume Conventions nationally. They had everything from Costumes, Sexy Costumes & Costume Accessorries. There will be some really cool Costumes coming this year to back up a few movie releases such as the new Spiderman, Batman, Avengers, Brave (Disney), Ghostrider movies & much more - keep watching this space as we are committed to keeping up to date with all new Costumes that relate to movie releases. One of the key additions this year will be our increase in range of Morphsuits....keep an eye on this one as we found a company that have 100 different designs everything from Tuxedo, Santa, Australia Morphsuits and more. We are also looking at doing a range of Partygoods over the coming months, everything from party plates, cups, napkins, lollie-bags & party kits to go along with the range. So the message from this is Keep Watching as we will have heaps more to offer in 2012!!
  • Full moon on the 23rd of January - Time to Party!!!!

Hi there, Heard lots about Full Moon Parties so I thought i would post a bit about them - see below. Looks like a lot of fun, obviously you need to dress up for one of these so it may pay to check out our Friday the 13th/Scary Costume section. There are 12 full moons every year so another 12 reasons to have a party - awesome!!! If anyone out there knows about a Full Moon Party here in Oz then please comment on where & when so we can all come along!! The Full Moon Party is an all-night beach party that originated in Haad Rin on the island of Ko Pha Ngan, Thailand on the night before or after every full moon. The first Full Moon Party was improvised at a wooden disco not far from the beach in 1985 for giving thanks to about 20-30 travelers.[1] They quickly gained fame through word of mouth, and the event now draws a crowd of about 20,000-30,000 every full moon evening.[1] The party carries on until the sun rises the next day. The bars on the sunrise beach of Haad Rin town stay open and play music such as R&B, drum and bass, house, dance and reggae. The modern event has become a part of the itinerary of many travelers to Asia.[says who?]  The Full Moon Party is featured in films such as The Beach, Last Stop for Paul and the Thai film Hormones.[4] It was also featured in the first episode of the Comedy Central tv show Gerhard Reinke's Wanderlust Have fun.

Internationally, the film received negative reviews from film critics, but grossed over $39.7 million at the box office in the United States,[2]:60 and went on to become one of the most-profitable slasher films in cinema history. It was also the first movie of its kind to secure distribution in the USA by a major studio, Paramount Pictures.[3] The film's box office success led to a long series of sequels, a crossover with the A Nightmare on Elm Street franchise and a series reboot released on February 13, 2009.
